Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 September 2026

This policy explains what information Tailorsin collects when you book a pickup, place an order, or use our website and WhatsApp channel, and how that information is used, stored, and protected.

1. Information we collect

To measure, stitch, and deliver an order, we collect information you give us directly and a small amount generated by using our services:

Information you provide

  • Contact details — name, phone number, email address, and pickup/delivery address.
  • Order details — garment type, measurements, fabric choices, style references, photos or sketches you share, and special instructions.
  • Payment information — processed by our payment partners; we do not store full card or bank details ourselves.
  • Communications — messages you send us over WhatsApp, call, email, or our website’s contact form.

Information collected automatically

  • Basic device and browser information when you visit our website (e.g. browser type, approximate location, pages viewed).
  • OTP verification logs used to confirm your phone number when scheduling a pickup.

2. How we use it

We use your information to:

  • Schedule pickups, take measurements, and produce your order to the correct fit and specification.
  • Communicate about order status, fitting consultations, and delivery timing.
  • Source fabric or arrange dyeing when requested as part of your order.
  • Improve our services, respond to support requests, and process alterations under our seven-day policy.
  • Send offers or updates you’ve opted in to receive, and meet legal or accounting obligations.

3. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary to deliver our service:

  • Our tailoring and delivery team, to complete pickup, stitching, and delivery.
  • Payment processors, to complete transactions securely.
  • Fabric or dyeing partners, only where you’ve requested sourcing or dyeing services.
  • Authorities, where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

4. WhatsApp & communication

Much of our booking and support happens over WhatsApp and SMS. By providing your number and confirming via OTP, you authorize us to contact you through call, SMS, email, and messaging platforms such as WhatsApp regarding your order — including for pickup scheduling, fitting consultations, and delivery updates — even where you are registered with the National Customer Preference Register (NCPR).

Note: This is standard placeholder wording. Please review and adjust it with your legal counsel to accurately reflect your actual consent language and NCPR registration process.

5. Cookies & website data

Our website may use cookies or similar technologies to remember basic preferences and understand how visitors use the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may limit some site features.

6. How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or loss, including restricted access to order and payment systems. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. How long we keep it

We retain order and measurement records for as long as needed to fulfil orders, handle alterations within our service window, and meet accounting or legal requirements. You may request deletion of your data as described in Your Rights below, subject to any records we’re required to keep by law.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or outdated details.
  • Delete your information, where we’re not required to retain it.
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.

To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below.

9. Children’s privacy

We offer kidswear tailoring, which may involve a child’s measurements provided by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, and all kidswear orders are taken through the parent or guardian’s account and contact details.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services change. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
